Product details

Brand: Fred Perry

Category: T-shirts & Polos > Short sleeve polo shirts

Colour: Green

Details:

The original twin tipped Fred Perry Shirt. Made by expert hands in Leicester, England and adopting Fred's signature streamlined fit. A piece of British subcultural uniform for 60 years. A true original, the M12 hasn’t changed much since it was originally designed by Fred Perry in the ‘50s. Legend has it that a buyer from Lillywhites requested the addition of football team colours to the plain-colour Fred Perry Shirt. So, Fred added subtle club colours to the collar and cuff and our M12 was born. The piece that took us from sportswear to streetwear and the first to carry our signature twin tipping in the 5-4-4 ratio that’s unique to us. Designed in Fred’s famous streamlined fit – slightly boxier than our M3600 – its production is a real labour of love, with each polo knitted, dyed, cut, embroidered and hand-finished in Leicester, England. The colour palette references the tones found in our original catalogues. 100% Cotton Machine Wash Model's height: 182cm / 6' Model wears: 40"

About the brand

Fred Perry

Not satisfied with merely winning trophies, British tennis legend Fred Perry was also keen to look the part. That's why in 1952 he designed the first Fred Perry shirt he would wear on and off the court. Since then, icons including Amy Winehouse and the Gallagher brothers have transformed the Fred Perry polo (and its laurel wreath logo) into a lasting signature of British subculture. Try that on for size.
