About the brand
Edwin
Denim may have been popularised in America, but Japanese brand Edwin helped perfect it. Founded by Mr Yonehachi Tsunemi in 1947, Edwin began creating denim that rivalled aged vintage American styles. In the ‘80s, it even invented the stone-washing technique used by denim purveyors around the world. Today, it specialises in selvedge denim and cool casual wear, and its quality, attention to detail, and reverence for Americana style lives on in its designs.
