Gift Cards FAQs

How do I redeem a gift card?

To redeem a gift card, you just need to enter the code on the gift card page here (you need to be signed in to Thread to view this page). The credit will be applied to your account and automatically applied to your subsequent orders.

Gift card refunds?

If you return an item bought using a gift card, the credit will be returned to the account used to make the purchase. This is usually a quick process and the credit should be returned on the day you receive the refund confirmation email from us, but please allow up to three days.If you spent more than the value of the gift card, the remaining charge will be refunded back to the card used to make the payment.

How do they know it’s from me?

Don’t worry, your name will be included along with the gift card so they know who it’s from.

Can I use more than one gift card on one order?

You can only use one gift card at a time per Thread account, so gift cards can’t be combined.

My gift card didn’t send. What should I do?

If your recipient doesn’t receive the gift card at the time it was scheduled, drop our support team an email at support@thread.com quoting your order number, and they’ll be happy to look into this.

How do returns & exchanges work?

You’ll have 100 days from the day you get your parcel to return any items. When your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email from us via 7Bridges (our return partner) containing a unique log-in link to our returns portal. Using the portal, you can select which items you want to return and print out the label you need to send the items back for free. You’ll receive a refund within five days of handing over your returns to the returns carrier. Once we’ve processed the refund, you’ll receive a confirmation email from us. Just make sure you keep hold of your proof of postage receipt until you receive a refund confirmation email from us.To exchange an item and repurchase it using credit, return the item as above. You’ll receive a refund confirmation email, and the credit should be added back to your account shortly after (usually on the same day, but it can take up to 3 days). Once the credit is available to use again, you can place a new order for the item.

What’s the expiry date for the gift card?

There’s no expiry on this, so enjoy it whenever you find something you love.

Can I return a gift card?

No, but with over 1000 brands on Thread, we hope you find something you like.
