Along with the signature Timothy Everest pen pocket and split yoke as a subtle tailoring reference.
This piece is crafted from a Chambray with micro dot pattern. Chambray is a popular fabric choice as it has the appearance of denim, without the weight. The origins of the cloth go back to the mid-1500s, but it really rose to popularity in 1901 when the U.S. Navy first authorised the use of the cloth; in WWII it was commonplace to see sailors wearing chambray shirts, then workers all over the U.S. swiftly adopted this shirting fabric, which gave us the term ‘blue collar’.
The versatile button down soft collar means it can be comfortably worn with or without a tie.
